Traditional Indian snacks and sweets manufacturer Haldirams has an unbelievable turnover in the financial year 2015-2016. Yes, the market of Haldirams had actually crossed Rs.4000 crores last year.

Interestingly, the revenue of Haldirams is more than the combined revenue of foreign food outlets Dominos and McDonalds and also larger than the Hindustan Unilever’s Nestle Maggi.

According to the reports of The Economic Times, Haldirams is the second largest Indian food brand after Parle. Haldirams dominated five of its rival brands Balaji Wafers, Bikanervala, Bikaji Foods, DFM Foods as well as Prataap Snacks.

Haldirams sell out their products through three branches – Haldiram Bhujiyawala for the eastern regions, Haldiram’s snacks and ethnic foods for the northern region and the Nagpur-based Haldiram Foods International for the western region.

The popularity of the brand is just because the manufacturers do not mess up with their age old recipes and maintain the same great taste for the future generation.
