World’s largest search engine company Google had put a step forward by launching its first ever “Voice Activated Shopping.” This is done by its artificial intelligence powered Home Speakers. This upcoming feature will be a direct challenge to Amazon’s Alexa devices.
Google’s Assistant Manager David Wang said in a report: “If you are picking up paper towels or stocking up on coffee is on your list, then this one is for you.”
This feature is introduced to enable users to shop even if they are deadly packed with their busy schedules.
This service is tied up with giant delivery arms like Google Express which includes Walgreens, PetSmart and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Customers have an option of adding payment information to their accounts to enable voice-activated shopping. This is actually an added feature on Amazon devices powered by the digital assistant called Alexa.
